GETTING STARTED
This club was founded by euchre lovers that banded together to create a place where friends can gather for some fun, with the chance to win a little money too. We have assembled a winning team who's goal is to make this club fun as well as keep it growing. All members have one thing in common. They love participating in euchre tournaments while making new friends that have the same interest.
Your first question is most likely "How does this whole thing
work?" Well, it is pretty simple really. This Club plays euchre tournaments
for money --- REAL MONEY. How? It actually is very simple. When a member wants
to enter a euchre tournament, they send the entry fee into the club via PayPal,
a system that let's you e-mail money back and forth. We then all meet in a
pre-determined lounge in Yahoo and play the tournament. At the end of the
tournament, the host for the evening sends the winners their money. It is
really that simple. This system is very easy, so please come join this group
of euchre lovers, and meet some of the friendliest people on the net.
The Three Essential Steps To Playing in a EuchreTournament
1. You need to first become a member of the club. Membership has always been and will always be free. Click here to join the club, or you can just Visit the Club instead.

HOW DO I SIGN UP FOR A TOURNAMENT?
Send the entry fee to euchre4cash@yahoo.com via your PayPal account. Please include your Yahoo ID (player name) and the date of the tournament you are signing up for in the e-mail.
WHAT IS PAYPAL?
PayPal is an online way of e-mailing money to other people without giving them your credit card number. A PayPal account is free. You will either need a credit card or a checking account to open up a U.S. PayPal account. International accounts require a credit card. People using a credit card vs. a bank account with Paypal, must read the special conditions regarding transferring of money for a tournament. HOW MUCH DOES EACH TOURNAMENT COST?
The cost of each euchre tournament is currently set at \\$2.00. We do rotate some of our Round Robin tournaments for $5.00, please check the calendar to see when these occur.
DO I HAVE TO PLAY IN EVERY TOURNAMENT?
No, you do not. You only need to pay for those tournaments that you are able to play in. If you do not wish to enter a particular tournament, then you will not be charged.
IS THE MONEY REFUNDABLE?
If you sign up for a euchre tournament and find out later that you cannot attend for any reason, the money will be returned to you via PayPal upon completion of the tournament. The refund applies whether or not you cancel or simply do not show up. In respect to all other players and the host for the evening, an e-mail of cancellation is preferred. This allows the tournament to start on time and avoids possible confusion between all euchre players. You will only be charged for those tournaments that you actually play in.
HOW MUCH CAN I WIN?
This depends on how many entries actually show up for the tournament. 100% of all the entry fees are paid out in prizes. The Club Founders are not paid for their time in any way. If we have 20 members enter a euchre tournament, then you will receive \\$20.00 for a win. The other \\$20.00 will go to your partner in the tournament.
WHEN ARE THE TOURNAMENTS?
You can check our euchre Tournament Information Page to find out about the next scheduled tournament. They are presently being scheduled on a rotating basis. Regular Play tourney's are held every Monday, every other Tuesday and every other Thursday. Round Robin Tournaments are rotated one week Friday and the next week Saturday. Check the club's Calendar to see when the next scheduled tournament will be held. They usually begin at 7:00 p.m. eastern time.
WHAT IS THE LATEST TO SIGN UP FOR A TOURNAMENT?
You must sign up for a particular euchre tournament no later than 15 minutes prior to start time. We encourage you to sign up as early as possible as this makes things easier for the host.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I AM LATE?
All members are asked to please be in the lounge 15 minutes prior to the start of the tournament so that your host/hostess can take roll call and get the brackets posted so the tournament can start on time. If you cannot get into the lounge on time your entry fee will then be refunded at the end of the tournament.
HOW DO I FIND A PARTNER FOR THE
TOURNAMENT?
The simple answer is, you don't. All partners are assigned to teams on a random basis by the host for the evening. This is to help stop any cheating. You will keep the same partner throughout the tournament.
WHERE ARE THE TOURNAMENTS PLAYED?
Please check the Tournament Information Page for any changes, but we usually play in the Yahoo euchre lounge Yahoo Intermediate Lounge 11.
WHAT ARE THE RULES OF THE TOURNAMENT?
All games will be Unrated and "Stick The Dealer". Each round will be the best two out of three. This is a single elimination euchre tournament so you must win one round to advance to the next. If you do not win a round, you are done for the evening.
WHAT DIFFERENTIATES THIS CLUB FROM OTHERS?
Realizing that people have different schedules and may not be able to play each tournament, ratings and ladder rungs are not used. All tournaments are held independent of each other with historical wins and purses being published on the Wall of Fame. Members are not penalized or charged monies for not being able to attend tournaments.
WHO ARE THE FOUNDERS?
We currently have eight members on the Founding Team. The Hosts are SGT_Rock, JoesGirl, BearcatDon, Chrissy_MN, Sassyohiolady & BearcatDoyle. Back-up host is ILoveCarousels. Justine20602 is in charge of recruitment. SGT_Rock and BearCatDon develop all the web pages. Please report any problems with the page to them.
